Speaking of Totes...

Did you know...

·  500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are used every year, worldwide.
·  About 1 million plastic bags are used every minute.
·  A single plastic bag can take up to 1,000 years to degrade.
·  Plastic bags are the second-most common type of ocean refuse, after cigarette butts (2008)
·  The average family accumulates 60 plastic bags in only four trips to the grocery store.

Holy Moly! I'm thinking, "that's not okay!"  Sooo...I've decided to take another challenge.{btw the handmade gift challenge is going great}No more plastic bags in my house!  As you can see below, I have quite a collection!

In order to make this happen, I'm going to need a few more totes. You can get them almost anywhere and you can use whatever bags you have around the house.  However, here are a few cute ones for purchase!

Newly Hatched / Egg Carton Tote Dogwood in Harvest Market Bag 8 Owl produce bags mesh market bags

I think my biggest challenge will be remembering to bring them along when I shop!

Who's with me??

  1. I just might have to ask for a couple of new totes for Mother's Day! I love the one on the left.
