Painted Mason Jar DIY {A Re-Post}

This by far has been one of my most popular posts. So I thought I would share it with you again just in case you're looking for a quick weekend project!
*****************************************************
When I saw this I was in love! I mean, by now you probably know about my love of mason jars and this super simple DIY Craftie takes it to a whole new level.

I found the idea here as I was enjoying one of my other favorite things...blog browsing! All you need is a little paint, a sponge or paint brush, and mason jars!

Side note: While i'm writing this I am enjoying my second ice cream cone! Yikes!

So all you do is slap a little paint inside the jar. I used 2 coats of paint on each jar.  One of the best things about this project is that it's so cheap! I already had the jars, and I bought a bottle of paint tester for less than 2 dollars.

I let them dry all day and then just added some dried flowers that I had around the house! *{Someone emailed me and asked if you could put fresh flowers in the jars as well. The answer is yes and no. You can put water in the jars for a short time period without the paint coming off, but I would not recommend it for longer times.}*

You know me, I couldn't just stop with the jars...so I thought I would use one of the treasures I found and slap a little paint on it as well!

I thought I could use the jars and the mirror in the nursery on some shelves when I get them up! I'll be sure to post a pic or two. For now, here's how everything turned out...
