DIY Stitched Christmas Cards {Day 3}

Sending a card this Christmas? Why not add a little something special?

Begin by cutting and attaching a tree or other shape to a blank card with a very small dot of glue. This is just to hold it in place until it's stiched. I used a die cut machine, but you could most certainly cut it by hand.

Thread your machine with whatever color thread you like and sew along the center of the tree. There's no need to backstitch at the beginning or end.

When you're finished. Tie it off to hold the thread in place and finish with a personalized message.

Who wouldn't love this simple handmade mailbox surprise?

Here are a few others that I made!

If you love this...then you're really gonna love what's in store for tomorrow! *Hint* A little something to display your sweet holiday cards.

DIY Mini Bunting {Day 2}

Wanna make this???

All you need is a needle, bakers twine or embroidery floss, felt, and a pair of scissors.

Begin by cutting small triangles out of felt. I cut 18 for a 1 yard banner.

Thread your needle and begin stitching your triangles.

Spread them out as close or as far away as you like.

Boom! You've got the sweetest little bunting you've ever seen.

If you love bunting as much as I do, here's another DIY!

Happy Almost Thanksgiving! I'll be spending the day relaxing and planning out my black friday madness. If you're looking for some suh-weet deals{including 40% off in my shop}click here!

DIY Handmade Gift Tags {Day 1}

If you know me at all, then you know I'm all about some packaging. I'll buy almost anything if it's wrapped pretty or has sparkles.

This Christmas instead of buying cheesy gift tags or stickers, I'm making my own{and you can too}!

I used a Martha Stewart stamp set that I purchased at Michaels. I already had some pretty red and white bakers twine that I ordered from Pretty lil Package and some pretty paper tags. Some of  mine were pre-cut from a kit and others I cut myself out of scrapbook paper.
Once I stamped them, they looked like this...
Then I wraped a gift in brown craft paper{a paper bag will give you the same look} and voila...
So pretty and so simple! I can't wait to hand out these little lovelies on Christmas morning.
See you back here for day 2 tomorrow! Want a hint?? Follow me on twitter and facebook.
