Throughout the past year I have found myself needing and wanting to draw closer to God. More than ever before, I long for quiet time. Just Him, me, my Bible, and my coffee. And all because of a hash tag on twitter, my iPhone is now involved.

Let me explain. Over and over again, I kept seeing #shereadstruth on twitter and instagram.  My curiosity go the best of me and led me to this post. At first, I was hesitant because I didn't want to be a part of something like this just because everyone else was doing it. I thought I would just wait and find something on my own. But I just kept thinking about it. So I decided I would just download the app secretly{wink} and see what it's all about. 

And you know what? It's really cool. You can choose different devotional plans and your phone keeps track for you. Genius I say! 

It's good stuff. I chose Soul Detox and started on Saturday morning. I'm waaaay behind everyone else, but that's okay because it's not about that. It's about Him and my heart. I also chose Debt: A Biblical Exploration. If you've heard my news then you will understand my interest.{wink}

I find myself wanting to do it all in the same day but I won't let myself because for the first time ever, I find myself looking forward to getting up early, fixing some coffee, gathering my Bible, journal, and phone, and spending some time with Him. Only Him.
