This past week we made these...
So simple but so much fun. We already had everything we needed. So, we{as in me} just cut out stars from a cardboard box and smeared some good old fashioned Elmers glue on one side at a time. The she added the sparkles. And lots of them. I actually used glitter for stamping that I had in my craft closet.{and yes, i have a craft closet} Let each side dry out in the sun, then apply mod podge over top of the sparkles so that when you little ones go all fairy princess you don't spend hours cleaning up glitter out of the carpet. Then I attached a dowel rod with some super glue and bippity, boppity, boo...
There ya have it!
I'm trying my best find creative ways to have fun at home that don't involve a lot of money but instead involve a lot of giggles and smiles. If you don't have a dowl rod, I'm sure you could use a straw, a pencil that's not sharpened, or even a stick from the yard. No glitter? Use markers, paint, crayons or even stickers to decorate your wand.
I hope I added a little bit of sunshine and sparkles to your Monday!

That is so cute!!
