So today is my first official day as a "stay at home mom!" And I have absolutely nothing on the agenda except loving on my babies and sewing classroom curtains for my friends of course.
I am curious. What do all of you stay at home mommies do during the week? For yourself? For the kiddos? I'll be starting a bible study in September on Wednesday mornings that I'm excited about. We're also planning on visiting the library regularly and of course lots of random crafts and projects. What else? Any tips or tricks to keeping my sanity? I would love for you to share.
XOXO

Congrats on being a stay at home mom! That just sounds like the best, most rewarding type of job. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kara! So far, so good ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is SO exciting!! Congrats, Autumn. I love staying home with my kiddos. I think it depends on what type of person you are... I'm totally type A and we stick to a very strict schedule in our home. But, there's always times that we stray and the kids & I are ok with that. Having a schedule each day just helps me to feel like I'm using my time wisely, but yet getting house stuff, blog stuff, shop stuff, family stuff.. all done, while still making time to spend playing and snuggling my kids. My kids watch a VERY limited amount of tv. During the school year, no tv during the week, only on weekends. But, during the summer they can watch tv until 10am. Usually by 9 they're off playing though. At about 1pm each day we have quiet time. They don't have to nap (they're 8 & 4, so we're past that stage, sadly.. haha), but they have to be in their rooms doing something quiet.. reading, playing with toys, coloring, etc. Like I said.. we're pretty scheduled and organized. haha. Hope this helps a little!
