No, I'm not pregnant! {although sometimes I secretly wish I were} But I do have that super nesty feeling that you get before the baby arrives. Maybe it's because I'm home a lot more than I used to be so I have plenty of time to notice all of the things I'd like to change. As I've mentioned before, our home is a rental and we adore it. The location is perfect, the amount of land is unreal, and it's all snuggly inside. However, to say it needs some updates would be an understatement. I've done a few things since we moved in like give the kitchen and the kids rooms a fresh coat of paint but that's about it.
So yesterday I went all gung-ho and painted the living room, hallway, and bathroom. Yup. All in one day. It's quite amazing what you can do with only one child around. Anyway, today I have big plans of painting a few pieces of furniture. I'll be sure to share the progress along the way as I slowly but surely transform our little home into something more lovely.

This is so funny because I feel the same way (nevermind that I AM pregnant), but with one child at Pre-K for 3 hours a day it is amazing to see how much I have been able to get done!! Today the hubs and I painted the outside trim of our house, and tomorrow I am painting some alcoves in our kitchen!
