Tent Camping!?

Some of my greatest memories of childhood are of tent camping. My family used to go all the time. We would pack up the tent and plenty of snacks and head out. Mostly just about 15 minutes away but it was just deep enough in the woods to make you think you were miles away from home. I loved everything about it. Well, almost. I was not a fan of "gathering wood" for the fire or going to the bathroom in the middle of the night because there might be frogs hopping around and I'm crazy afraid of frogs. {seriously} It was so nice to be away from home riding bikes, swimming, and roasting marshmallows. 

I want that for my girls too. So we're thinking about going camping this weekend. In a tent. With two small children. Crazy, right? I am a little on the super tidy end of the spectrum. Okay, I can't stand a mess, so tent camping could cause a little anxiety. I'm already stressing out about dirt in the tent from grubby little toes. But with a few deep breaths I'm talking myself into it. I know we will have so much fun and it will be nice to get away without spending a fortune.
