Last week I told you we were going tent camping and then I bombarded you with questions on facebook and twitter asking for your best tips and tricks. My favorite tip was to make sure you have a hotel room booked close to the campground. Ha! This would have been handy on Saturday night when the rain set in and our tent began to puddle.

Even with the rain, this little trip was probably one of the best "vacations" I've ever had. Seriously. We had so much fun swimming, playing, fishing, jumping on this huge jumpy thing, and roasting marshmallows of course!
Due to the forecast of severe storms and damaging winds, we decided to pack it up early and head home for one more night of fun.
Daddy built this pretty sweet tent in the living room and was sure to include a mattress to ease our aches and pains. We roasted more marshmallows in the yard and fell asleep watching The Chronicles of Narnia. Best. Time. Ever.
This week I'm trying a little something new that will hopefully help in the balance of life, blog, biz. So far so good. I have lots of sewing planned and I'm really excited about sharing new pretties with you later this month.

So fun! I'm so bummed, I don't think we're going to get a camping trip in this summer but hopefully next. It looks like you had a great time and I love that the hubs even set up a tent at home for one last night ;) Adorable!
