Our Costume Reveal

Just look at my little cowgirl and indian princess! I mean really. They're adorable. This year I was determined to make their costumes myself. And I did. Even though it cost more than just buying one. That's neither here nor there. The point is, they are handmade with lots of love.

Ella Cate of course wanted to be a princess but she's a princess everyday all day. If you follow me on instagram or facebook then you have surely seen her in her crown. She wears that thing everywhere. So it took some careful coxing to change her mind.

As soon as she found out there was a tutu involved she was in.
The boots were a must from Old Navy. Or Old Naby as she calls it.

She wanted Lucy to be a chicken. Which cracks me up, but I made the executive decision of cowgirl. Not very original, but it totally fits with the whole indian thing.

I wanted to keep it girly so I added a fabric scrap tutu. Perfect for spinning.

Those sweet little boots were my husbands. It's a good thing they fit because I was gonna stuff her little foot in there anyways.

Are they adorable or what?!

Tomorrow we're having a little Halloween party for their friends here at the house. Stay tuned for lots of tricks and treats from from the party!
