A Little Help Here!

When I received an email last week from the sweet Emmy I was delighted. As I read more, I got super sad. Another really great handmade business may be closing. It seems as though I'm seeing this more and more. From experience, I can say that having a successful money making small biz is hard. Really hard. So lets help Emmy out! Together we can help her keep her 'doors open!'

You can get all of the details here! I bought one back in January and I adore it!

I use it for everything. Blogging, family stuff, school stuff, just everything. I loved it so much that I bought my sister one for her birthday. We get so many compliments and jealous looks.{wink} So go! Get to shoppin'

*These are my very own opinions. No bribery here.

Lub. True Lub!

This weekend was filled with love! They all are...but this one was especially love-ly.

Friday afternoon I treated myself to half of this...

Saturday we put together some sweet little valentines thanks to StickyGram. If you have instagram on your iPhone then you must order some cute little magnets.

Next stop, Build-A-Bear. I must admit it's quite the money racket...but this is only number 3 in her almost 3 years.

After church we made this delicious Valentine's treat. I got the idea from Nest of Posies. She calls it Valentine Confetti-so cute!

Then it was nap time...

I'm not sure it gets any better than that.
I hope your weekend was just as lovely!

Um Yum...Did Someone Say Cake Balls?

Hey y'all! I'm back with a super easy and delish recipe....

Strawberry Cake Balls!! Just in time for Valentine's Day!

These are so simple. I snatched this idea from Bakerella herself. You may have heard of her... she's the brains behind the the cake pop! Genious! Her recipe calls for red velvet cake mix, but I switched mine for strawberry instead.

1 box of strawberry cake mix {bake as directed for 13x9}
1 can of cream cheese frosting
1 package of chocolate bark
sprinkles{of course}
cute little mini cupcake liners

After you cook the cake...let it cool completely. Then crumble it into a large bowl and stir in the frosting. And by stir, I mean mix with your hands!

Before rolling it into balls, I chilled the mix for about an hour. This made them much easier to roll.

Then chill the balls for a few hours. Melt the chocolate in the microwave a little at a time. Using a spoon dip each ball in the melted chocolate and lay them on a sheet of wax paper. Add some pretty sprinkles!!!

Chill in the fridge and then place them in your pretty cupcake liners!

Trust me...they are so yummy! The perfect sweets for your sweet!
